Soft Shades

The owners of this apartment knew exactly what they wanted from the future interior. The young couple imagined a cozy "nest" in which both adults and the coming child would be comfortable. At first, the MNdesign studio team offered them a modern design in gray tones, but over time the palette was transformed. Warm beige and brown soft shades appeared in it, as well as inclusions of light wood.

The developer's layout solution was quite controversial: on the one hand, it clearly divided the living and leisure areas, but a large block of bathrooms and dressing rooms was located right in the middle of the apartment. Because of it, the project was complicated by corridors and a walk-through kitchen-living room. As a result, the set of original rooms did not change, but the layout became more rational. In the public space, at the request of the clients, a small work area and a comfortable set appeared. Since the MNdesign studio team often experiments with solutions, the interior was decorated with angled lamella partitions and a kitchen volume allocated within the living room. The designers decided to complicate its geometry, so they designed sections in different materials - light wood and dark gray enamel. That is why the embedded parts for cabinet furniture and LED profiles were thought out in advance. Decorative plaster was ideal for finishing the walls. Its texture is almost indistinguishable from the paint on the ceiling, but at the same time, it brings a sense of depth to the interior. The laconic Mononova sofa is adjacent to a spectacular dining group. It is represented by a round TOK table and Archipelago chairs. Under the TV area, there is an artificial fireplace, which becomes the center of attraction of the whole house in the evenings. The client's bedroom is designed in an enveloping monochrome palette. Dimmable hidden lighting is designed to enliven the calm design, allowing you to easily change the atmosphere of the room. Beige tones from here flow into the nursery with a crib for a baby and images of balloons on the wall. Only Mikhail Novinsky deliberately made the guest bathroom more dynamic and dark due to brutal plaster and a textured "stone" sink. Almost all the furniture for the project was made according to the author's sketches.
